Door to Entrepreneurship

I have attended "Door to Entrepreneurship" program conducted by Youth For Seva on December 25th 2011. The session was wonderful. The speaker of the session was Mr. Kamal Narang, ISB 2002 Entrepreneur & Advisor. The session has been conducted at NIFT campus Madhapur. The session was more of Interactive & many new ideas have been raised. You can watch the session on Youth For Seva website.

Merry Christmas to all. I hope this Christmas should bring lot of joy & happiness in every bodies  families.

Youth for Seva had conducted Eye Screening Camp in Saraswati Shishu Mandir School Kushaiguda

Youth for Seva had conducted Eye Screening Camp in Saraswati Shishu Mandir School Kushaiguda, Hyderabad.

Members of Youth For Seva have visited Saraswati Shishu Mandir School and conducted screening of Eyes for nearly 600 students. The members will place a card board sheet on a wall which contains alphabets 20 feets away from the children and they have to read the alphabets or has to indicate the directions of the alphabets. If he or she indicates or reads the alphabets correctly then their eyes are perfect. Otherwise their might be some problem with the child's eyes which doctors will identify and give proper prescription.Youth For Seva is donating spectacles for the children who are prescribed for Spectacles. Even we are collecting funds for this type of work. Youth For Seva has tied up with Dr. L.V. Prasad Eye Hospital and takes the children for Eye check up. Youth For Seva with the help of various hospitals in the city has helped to conduct Eye Cataract Operations for many Senior Citizens.

The students of the school have shown their extra ordinary performance in various activities like Singing, Dancing and Story Telling.

Youth for Seva survey of students having tooth problem in Saraswati Shishu Mandir

Youth for Seva survey of students having tooth problem in Saraswati Shishu Mandir Unnata Patashala, Venkata Raman Nagar, Bhagya Nagar. This school is located in lane beside to Sakshi Office, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

We have done survey and made list of students who are having Tooth related problems. With help of  Mrs.Vanaja Devi the head mistress of the school, I went from Xth class to 2nd class and asked the students about the Tooth problems and made a list. Next week again we will revisit that school with a doctor and do checkup of all the students whose names are their in the list.

Youth for Seva ENT specialist camp conducted at Saraswati Shishu Mandir School Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad.

Youth for Seva ENT specialist camp conducted at Saraswati Shishu Mandir School Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad.

Today I have participated as a volunteer for an ENT specialist camp conducted by Youth For Seva at Saraswati Shishu Mandir School Srinagar Colony by Dr. Sai Kumar ENT Specialist. First of all I want to thank Dr.Saikumar  for giving his precious time from his busy schedule. Dr. Sai Kumar has screened nearly 30 students in the time span of  two hours and gave prescription to students who are having problems related to ear, nose. The volunteer's who participated in this event are Mr. Ashwin, Mr. Javeed & Mr. S.Santhosh. Nearly 15 students were having pain related to ear and prescription of drops were given to them. Again Dr.Sai Kumar will visit the school on next weekend. By conducting these type of  programmes we are contributing something to the society. I hope others will also contribute to society in some way.

Youth for Seva

I have joined youth for seva as a member on October 25th 2011. The way they conduct seva programmes are excellent. I will contribute my time on every saturday for doing these type of sevas. Till now I have attended two Eye Screening Programmes at Government School of Miyapur, Hitec City. The satisfaction which I get at the end of day after doing service is immense. Even I donate money for Vidya Daan for a student which costs Rs.300.

I request every body to contribute some small amount of money. So that we can help the need full. If you are unable to contribute, you can participate as a volunteer.
